Despite the fact I got mix up with the instructions for one of the activities, I felt I was able to manage it correctly. I believe students did understand what kind of work was expected for them to produce, and them seem very interested and involved in the activities I was in charge of. This time I did not feel constrained with the time, however I do know that my part took too long. I did a good job monitoring the pairs, and helping students with vocabulary or grammar.
ResponderBorrarThe students recognized the concepts of Simple past and Past continuous properly, however, when Past perfect was introduced they felt quizzed (they had never seen such a thing formally) so I wanted to explain it using more examples but I had to follow the original lesson plan because that was the challenge that we needed to follow. Their reaction was so interesting and that helped me to encourage them.
ResponderBorrarThey took an active role and a great attitude, there were some volunteers who wrote the answers on the board.
I need to keep reducing my TTT even if I am explaining something. I should let students do the most part of the job.
I think I improved my wait-time when asking questions, I provided more time to let students think carefully.
I´m finally a Little more satisfied with my teaching process. I was very satisfied with the participation and proactivity of the students, I think the story was able to consolidate the narrative tenses in all their forms. My only concern was the spelling mistake… but I think this time I was able to make a progress.
